The Fontana di Trevi or Trevi Fountain is the most famous and arguably the most beautiful fountain in all of Rome. This impressive monument dominates the small Trevi square located in the Quirinale district... At the centre of the fountain, is an incredible statue of Neptune, the God of Sea. An absolute wonder when you get past the crowds and up close to it. Normally it is very busy but can be a bit quieter early in the morning and late in the evening.
